Happy Hour

Happy Hour begins with a familiar social ritual and slowly reveals a more complicated relationship between pleasure and what it asks of us.

Friends gather over drinks, conversation flows easily, and everything appears exactly as it should. The longer one looks, the more the scene begins to shift. What first reads as an ordinary happy hour gives way to a quieter tension, where enjoyment and consequence occupy the same moment.

Constructed through paper and mixed media, Happy Hour invites viewers to linger with what a familiar gathering is quietly asking of them.
