Commission an Original Artwork
Have a story, memory, beloved companion, or wonderfully odd idea you’d like to see brought to life? I create one-of-a-kind commissioned works in paper quilling, watercolor, and mixed media.
From Your Idea to the Finished Piece
Start by telling me what you have in mind. It might be a beloved pet, a meaningful object, a memory, an inside joke, or simply an idea you’d like to explore. Reference photos are welcome.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. A general idea is enough to get the conversation started.
We’ll talk about the subject, size, composition, colors, and any details that matter to you. I’ll develop a concept that works with my style and approach, and we’ll agree on the direction, price, and estimated timeline before I begin.
Once the concept is approved, I’ll create your artwork by hand using paper, watercolor, and mixed-media techniques.
Because each piece is individually made, there will always be small variations and surprises along the way. That’s part of what makes it an original.
When the piece is complete, I’ll send you photos of the finished artwork before arranging pickup or shipping.
Your commission arrives ready to enjoy, give as a gift, or find its permanent place in your home.

FAQs
How much do custom pieces cost?
Commissions start at $100 for smaller pieces, depending on size and complexity. I’ll provide a quote once we’ve agreed on the concept.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a 50% deposit is required to begin. The remainder is due once the piece is completed and ready to ship or be picked up.
How long does it take?
Most commissions are completed within 2–4 weeks, depending on size, complexity, and my current schedule. If you have a specific date in mind, let me know when you inquire.
Can I see a draft before you start?
Yes! For most custom orders, I’ll provide a concept sketch or mock-up before starting. That way, you’ll have a chance to review and approve the direction.
Can you create something outside of the examples shown here?
Absolutely. While many of my commissions have been inspired by beloved animals, commissions can begin with an object, memory, story, inside joke, or wonderfully strange idea. If you’re not sure whether your idea will work in my style, just ask.
Do you accept returns?
Due to the handmade nature of my work, I don’t accept returns, but if your item arrives damaged, I’ll absolutely make it right.
