Almost Aligned

Paper, PLA, and mixed media
6×6 in. (on cradled wooden panel)
2026

Two systems advance from opposite directions and meet near the center; close, but stopping just short of full agreement.

Working entirely in white, Almost Aligned relies on height, density, and shadow to reveal what proximity does not resolve. Paper beside PLA: one soft, one rigid, each retaining its distinct character while occupying the same space. The tension between them is the work. Resolution was never the point.
