A small bird stands upright on a branch while a feather rests below. The feather suggests what has come away, yet the bird remains balanced and forward-facing. The two share the same open field but do not compete for attention.

Constructed through layered and sculptural paper with a found feather embedded into the surface, the composition holds its equilibrium quietly. The strength here is not dramatic; it is continuous.
