Common Ground considers what it means to share space while remaining distinct. Multiple dogs occupy the same open field, each engaged in a different gesture of play, pause, or pursuit.
One dog leaps mid-air at the center, while others remain grounded — alert, relaxed, or in motion. No single figure dominates; balance emerges through variation rather than uniformity.
Constructed through layered and sculptural paper, the work reveals the subtle negotiations that allow individuality and belonging to exist at once, without requiring alignment.
