Nothing Missing, Carefree
Mixed media (paper, PLA, acrylic paint, found feather)
10x10 in, framed
2025
Nothing Missing, Carefree explores how something perceived as loss can become invitation. A falling feather, often understood as something shed or left behind, shifts in meaning when perspective changes.
In this scene, a three-legged dog leaps mid-air toward it, suspended between ground and sky. Even with one leg absent, the dog leaps without hesitation.
Constructed through layered and sculptural paper, the work emphasizes motion and lift, proposing that absence does not inherently diminish what remains.
