Brief Companions considers companionship within impermanence. Arranged in a grid reminiscent of a yearbook page, the portraits gather dogs encountered during a period of transition: moments of shared time never intended to be permanent.

Each dog is rendered through layered paper forms that favor character over exact likeness. Though assembled together, they remain distinct individuals, connected only by the brief overlap of their paths.

Constructed through paper and PLA, the work reflects on how some relationships exist for a season. They disperse, but the encounter is not erased.
