Workshops and Classes
Teaching is an extension of my practice.
These workshops introduce paper quilling through simple forms and structured compositions. Rather than focusing on decoration, the classes emphasize how small, repeated elements build form, balance, and visual clarity.
Each session offers an accessible entry point into the material while reflecting the same attention to structure and process present in the work. No experience needed. Materials included. Ages 16+.
Paper Quilling: Flowers
An introduction to paper quilling through simple floral forms and composition.
Participants will learn foundational techniques such as rolling and shaping paper strips while building a balanced arrangement. The focus is on structure, repetition, and how small elements come together to form a cohesive image.
Paper Quilling: Ocean
An introduction to paper quilling through layered forms and simple landscape composition.
Participants will explore how repeated lines and shapes can suggest movement, depth, and space. The class focuses on building visual structure while working with waves, horizon, and form.
Paper Quilling: Watermelon
An introduction to paper quilling through a simple, playful composition.
Participants will learn basic techniques such as rolling and shaping strips while building a clear, recognizable form. The class focuses on color placement, proportion, and how small details contribute to the overall image.
Paper Quilling: Butterfly
An introduction to paper quilling through a single, structured form.
Participants will explore essential techniques such as coils and teardrops while constructing a dimensional butterfly. The class focuses on symmetry, variation, and how repeated shapes create visual rhythm.

Paper Quilling: Ice Cream
An introduction to paper quilling through playful forms and layered construction.
Participants will learn foundational techniques while exploring how coils and shapes can be arranged to create volume and balance. The focus is on structure, layering, and composition within a contained form.
