Nothing Missing, Mid-Air

Nothing Missing, Mid-Air is a mixed-media work about anticipation: the suspended moment before contact. A small three-legged dog lifts into space toward a drifting feather, reaching with full attention.

The feather isn’t corrected or replaced. It remains light, slightly out of place, and complete on its own terms. In this brief pause, desire reads as motion rather than lack, an ordinary reaching that doesn’t ask to be resolved.

Mixed media (paper, PLA, resin, acrylic paint, found feather)
