Held in Balance explores how structure and softness can coexist rather than oppose. Repetition and symmetry suggest control, yet small variations allow space for ease.
At the center, a dog sits in a lotus pose, calm and grounded within the surrounding mandala. The familiar figure holds stillness, even as the structure around it builds outward in measured rhythm.
Constructed through layered and sculptural paper, the work balances precision with subtle irregularity, proposing that equilibrium is not achieved through perfection, but through the presence of both order and gentleness.
